A community activity hub in the heart of Monty

Montmorency Neighbourhood Co-operative Ltd. (Monty Hub) is a "Not-for-Profit" charity governed by a Board, elected by its members and is run by a 100% volunteer collective.  We rely on generating our own income from grants, fundraising, donations, activity fees and membership subscriptions. The money raised supports a range of community driven activities.

Visit history to find out more about the origins of the Monty Hub.

Monty Hub is driven by locals who believe that in order to create the places we want to live in, we need to invest in shared community spaces in the heart of our suburbs.  This collective action is necessary, and possible.

History

You may have noticed that the original Monty Hub site at the corner of Mountain View and Rattray Roads has been sold and is currently ready for re-development.  The good news is that the Montmorency Neighbourhood Co-operative (Monty Hub) is still alive and through the support of Banyule Council has a new home, formerly the Montmorency Senior Citizens rooms, which sits alongside Petrie Park Hall overlooking the oval. An enthusiastic group of volunteers have been working behind the scenes to transition the co-operative to our new premises and maintain our connection to the Monty community. Come and visit us and get involved!
